GBSN Open Groups for Breastfeeding Awareness Week
During Breastfeeding Awareness Week 2011 (19th-25th June), GBSN groups will be actively inviting health professionals to come along to their local group and get a flavour of what we’re about.
Whilst midwives, health visitors and other professionals are always welcome at our groups, this week we are particularly looking to promote our services with the aim of spreading the word far and wide about the support GBSN groups are able to offer families.
All our groups are open for their usual hours so pop along to one of more and get a feel for how we operate. Many groups will be holding cake sales too to celebrate Breastfeeding Awareness Week and there will be a warm welcome to all.
